Well, my fellow humans, it's March! It's been a long time since I've felt an emotional connection to the beginning of a new month. But, yesterday, March 1st... I did.

For me, being aware of what's happening in the world right now is hard to look away from.
I'm working to remind myself to stay in the realm of what I can do, create, and influence. It's hard - I don't want to pretend it isn't. And, I was reminded today what a powerful impact being in connection with our community has on us. One of my friends sent me a short video of her singing and playing banjo today. I listened to it on repeat for a while. It was transporting – I was carried on the notes and the melody of her voice. What a gift. We really are better together!
